• Group sharing: what worked & didn’t from Week 1?
• Peer review: Team Management Plan
• Tips for working with clients on a data science project
• Introducing the Solution Design
• Sketching out & presenting a Solution Design schematic

Today’s timeline:

• 1:00 - 1:30 - Reminders, Meeting Tips, Questions & “What worked?”
• 1:30 - 2:15 - Team management plan peer review
• 2:15 - 2:30 - Break
• 2:30 - 3:00 - Working with a client - a few big tips
• 3:00 - 3:15 - Introducing the Solution Design section
• 3:15 - 3:45 - Sketchy Solution Design
• 3:45 - 4:00 - Break
• 4:00 - 4:30 - Present your sketch (3 minutes each group)
• 4:30 - 4:45 - Clarify questions you have for Solution Design
• 4:50 - 5:00 - Designated team time

What you should do before next week:

• Make your list of Products and Deliverables (section e of D&I Plan)
• Drafted timeline for your work (unrelated to Bren deliverables - this should be specifically for your data science product work). Review timeline with advisor / client this week or next.
• Skeleton draft of Solution Design, with a schematic to share in 411A next week. The point is to clarify what you don’t know and still need. Schematics are encouraged in your D&I plan, so this could / should end up being a final figure in your submitted document.
• Based on your Team Management Plan, create your repo (most likely) or whatever tool you’re using for project accountability & progress tracking. Add action items for each person, each week (i.e. each person should have a “to-do” list). Share with both faculty advisors.
